Cheat in the name of racing bike
A sales manager was searching for the racing bike of Rs. 15 Lakhs and then cheated
Online robbers take nearly 40.5 Lakhs from him. Chanakyapuri Police Station files the case for this.
According to the New Delhi District Police, a sales manager, Manjeet Chaddha, who resides in sector 23, Gurgaon, said in this complaint to the police inspector Vaine Meena Singh that he saw the Super Bike on OLX in February.
The ad was about the Superbike in which the seller is selling the bike of 15 Lakhs in Rs. 3.5 Lakhs. Manjeet, then contact the owner of the bike, Mumbai’s Anil Patil.
He gave advance of Rs. 3.5 Lakhs to the Anil Patil and after that Anil disappeared. After that Manjeet got the call from James, who told him that he is from Anil’s side. He then met him with his friend Mathew in Ambience Mall Gurgaon.
They take him approx 27 Lakhs by giving his different proposals. Police say that some robbers are detained.
