The Nun 2 is a 2023 American gothic otherworldly blood and gore movie coordinated by Michael Chaves, with a screenplay composed by Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing, and Akela Cooper from a story by Cooper. Filling in as a spin-off of The Religious recluse (2018) and the 10th portion in The Conjuring Universe establishment, the film stars Taissa Farmiga, Jonas Bloquet and Bonnie Aarons, getting back from the main film, with Tempest Reid and Anna Popplewell joining the cast. Peter Safran and James Wan return as makers.
The film is set in 1956 France, where a minister is killed and Sister Irene (Farmiga) is brought in to research. She indeed encounters Valak, the devil cloister adherent.
The film was delivered in auditoriums in the US on September 8, 2023.
