Xiaomi Pad 6 launched in India

Xiaomi has recently launched its latest tablet computer, the Xiaomi Pad 6, in India. The tablet comes in two variants, with different RAM and storage options. The base model features 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, priced at Rs 26,999. The high-end model offers 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, priced at Rs 28,999. ICICI Bank card users can avail an instant discount of Rs 3,000, making the effective prices Rs 23,999 and Rs 25,999, respectively.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 will be available for purchase starting June 21 through various channels, including Amazon, Mi.com, and Xiaomi retail stores across the country.

Alongside the tablet, Xiaomi has also announced three new accessories. The 2nd generation Xiaomi Smart Pen is priced at Rs 5,999, the Xiaomi Pad 6 keyboard case costs Rs 4,999, and the Xiaomi Pad 6 case is priced at Rs 1,499. Additionally, Xiaomi launched the Buds 4 Active, featuring Google Fast Pair, an IPX4 rating, and other features, for Rs 1,399.

Speaking of specifications, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is equipped with an 11-inch 2.8K, 10-bit 144Hz IPS LCD screen with HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision certification. It is powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with either 6 or 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB UFS 3.1-based storage.

Similar to the Xiaomi Pad 5, the Pad 6 also features a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support. The device supports both wireless and wired HD audio streaming. The tablet includes a single 13 MP camera on the back and an 8 MP shooter on the front. It runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 for tablets, offering additional customization features.

The tablet is equipped with an 8840 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via the USB Type-C port. It also supports up to 4K output to televisions. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, but the tablet does not have cellular connectivity.
